PACKAGE FOR 10 ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE 1.5 HOUR SESSIONS FOR 1, 2, OR 3 STUDENTS
Immersive Artificial Intelligence Exploration
This package offers a comprehensive and personalized journey into the world of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Through exciting projects, collaborative coding sessions, and engaging lessons, this experience will challenge students to harness the power of AI, integrating computational thinking and problem-solving skills into their daily activities.
It will also introduce one area of AI of the student’s choice to foster a deeper understanding and application of AI technologies. I offer the following options:
1- Computer Vision & Facial, Object, and Handwriting Detection using Convolutional Neural Networks (Identifying facial emotions, teaching models to distinguish objects in images, reading your handwriting)
2- Predictive Modeling and Data Analysis using Supervised Learning in one of the following areas:
- Health Care (Predicting diseases and analyzing medical images)
- Real Estate (Predicting housing prices and the housing market)
- Sales and Marketing (Predicting future sales and types of customers for business analytics and marketing purposes)
- Sustainability (Predicting weather patterns or optimizing energy use)
- Entertainment and Media (Box office revenue prediction and audience analysis for movie/song recommendations)
- Sports (Predicting team or individual performance and injury prediction using health data and performance metrics)
- Education (Predicting student performance for academic support, recommending courses based on past performance)
3- Natural Language Processing, Chatbots, and Sentiment Analysis using Neural Networks (Building AI chatbots to interact with users, analyzing text data for sentiment and emotion, processing and understanding natural language for various applications)
4- Robotics and Game Playing using Reinforcement Learning (Developing AI agents that can learn to play games or navigate robotic tasks, implementing reinforcement learning algorithms to solve complex problems)
5- Fraud Detection and Security using Anomaly Detection techniques (Identifying spam in inboxes and identifying unusual patterns or outliers in data that may indicate fraudulent activity)
This course consists of ten 90-minute sessions to be taken within an agreed-upon timeframe.
This course will enable students to:
– Design, develop, and evaluate AI applications using Python to solve complex problems and make predictions.
– Apply and comprehend core AI concepts, including machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and reinforcement learning.
– Understand and implement various machine learning models such as regression, classification, clustering, and dimensionality reduction.
– Work with some of Python’s AI and data analysis libraries, including Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, and PyTorch.
– Develop and apply custom algorithms to organize data and make accurate predictions.
– Learn to study and understand code documentation to effectively utilize Python AI libraries to extend AI application functionality.
– Gain exposure to real-world applications of AI and comprehend how AI can be used to solve complex problems across multiple industries.
– Cultivate critical thinking, logical reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills by applying AI concepts to build real-world solutions.
– Gain awareness of software tools commonly used in AI development, such as Jupyter Notebooks to run Python code and GitHub to manage code changes.
– Understand the ethical implications of AI, learning about topics such as data privacy and algorithmic bias.
